I was born in 1970 and the songs on this record have a permanent place in my memory. In fact, maybe some of my earliest memories. I've never researched the reaction to this record back when it was released. I think in many ways, parts of society embraced this direction. I especially like how it's the grandma, the older generation, who influences the father. A grandma in the early 70's was probably born in the early 1900's-10's.

Marlo does have a very crappy voice now and for a long time. Anyone who has smoked even a short time has some degree of emphysema. Suzanne Pleshette had that deep raspy voice too later on. She died in her early 70’s I think of lung cancer. How Marlo has lived this long without getting some type of cancer, especially lung cancer, mouth, tongue, throat cancer. Dr Oz kept talking about not operating on a smoker due to its effects but he didn’t mention the major risk is CANCER and end stage COPD/ emphysema!

Suze orman scammed a lot of her purple debit card out of their money they had in that account. She shut the business down and gave them a small window to withdraw many said they could not access to get the money out and Suze kept their money. What a scam.
